The responsibility of parents in building their children’s behavior does not stop at care and attention, providing food, hygiene, and clothing, and following up on their school affairs. Rather, they must teach their child from a young age how to be an effective and influential individual in social life and not to become someone who prefers comfort over adventure or his attitude is negative in social activities such as cooperation and sympathy.
They must make him generous and spend some of his time, effort, and possessions to help others.
Here are five points to support your thinking about developing the spirit of sympathy among your children:
First: Talk to your son about social issues, such as addressing poverty or the danger of sectarian intolerance and the negative impact of racism.
Second: Allow him to form his own opinions about others, but according to the criteria of values, and not to have a dark view of people.
