The Communications Division of the Engineering Projects Department of the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) Holy Shrine has started working with solar energy systems for the Al-Ameed Educational Schools Group, which provides alternative energy for critical systems and gives a return of energy to the national electricity, after the success of the first experiment at Al-Ameed University.
Eng. Firas Abbas, in charge of the Communications Division, stated that: (Work on the solar energy system in Al-Ameed schools has already started, and we will generalize the experience on all new projects related to the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) holy shrine, as it contributes to reducing the costs resulting from operating generators, especially for critical systems such as fire Ddvision, cameras, and the Information division that need permanent employment after the end of the official working hours).
Abbas added that: (The floor on which the system was installed was coated with a white gelatinous material that works to reduce the emitted heat and help reflect solar energy before installing the panels and working on the batteries, which proved successful when tested).
It is mentioned that an electronic application via the cloud enables those in charge of these systems to monitor the data of what is generated, provided and used.
