Dear educator and esteemed professor, these are social skills for which it is necessary to develop an appropriate method for raising students because of their importance in their general and academic lives in particular, and they contribute to achieving the goals of the educational process in the field of education and teaching:
- The art of listening and interacting with the speaker and not interrupting him, and making him feel the importance of what he is speaking through moving the head or the words: Yes, well done, good, continue...
- The art of communication includes the etiquette of greeting and welcoming by choosing attractive phrases and a calm, balanced tone.
- Respecting the regulations and instructions, listening to their texts carefully, and adapting psychologically to implement them to the fullest extent.
- Etiquette of asking for help and choosing expressions that reveal respect and humility: “Please,” “if you may,” “... and showing thanks and praise to those who provided assistance.”
- How to gain the teacher’s attention by displaying behavior characterized by obedience, respect, and interest in the lesson.
- How to have a fruitful discussion and constructive criticism based on the principles of dialogue. In this regard, it is possible to write a topic for discussion on the blackboard that will provoke the students to present their arguments with all politeness and respect for other opinions.
- The art of offering an apology and using a sad and poignant tone with phrases such as: I would like to apologize for... or I am sorry... provided that you promise not to repeat the mistake and thank the other party for listening.
- Communication, creating social ties, getting to know new people, and respecting fellowship, which is a path to friendship that may extend to the end of one’s life.
