Iraqi Prime minister Al-Sudani directs not to change the ampere price for private generators this month
The government services team held a meeting, on Sunday, to bring together the parties concerned with the file of private generators to end the obstacles and problems facing this file and maintain the stability of ampere prices.
Adviser to the Prime Minister, Head of of the team Qassem Al-Zalimi, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency, that "today's meeting included the director of the oil products distribution company, administrative units, and those concerned with the issue of generators as well as setting ampere price for citizens.
He added, "The meeting touched on the file of the fuel share for generators, how to overcome difficulties and secure quotas continuously, while keeping the ampere price unchanged, according to the Prime Minister's directives."
He continued, "The meeting stressed the necessity of adhering to prices while securing quotas and resolving any shortage that occurs. In the event of any observations, the government services team or follow-up committees are notified to solve any problems."
He pointed out that "the government is serious about resolving any obstacles that hinder the file of private generators and ending the reasons that make their owners not abide by the official pricing."
