The girl may sometimes make mistakes or deviate as the boy does, and there is no doubt that mistakes and deviations must be confronted.
However, the father's dealings with the girl differ from his dealings with the boy, as it is not right for fathers to resort to roughness with girls, despite its immediate effect and the temporary solution to the problem. Rough behavior is reprehensible in and of itself, and its ugliness will increase if the father practices it with his daughter.
The girl's affection and psychological peculiarities can never tolerate this behavior, and it is a disgusting act for a father to resort to slapping, punching, or kicking his daughter. And it will negatively affect her and her future.
Rather, in many instances, the father must forgive his daughter's insolence, forgive her for her mistakes, and deal with her with kindness, sympathy, and love, and not allow her tears to fall. There are many hadiths that warn us against resorting to hitting a girl or forcing her to cry.
