The father has a major role in raising children, and it is a hereditary role on the one hand and is achieved through passing his genetics down to his children, and on the other hand he has an environmental role that takes its character through education. It is also the father's responsibility to learn the issues related to the child's life now and in the future, as he provides guidance to discipline and the indicator of the law, and it is the manifestation of justice in the family; If the child makes a mistake, he is the one who holds him accountable and takes the decision regarding him. As for the mother, she is naturally forgiving and tender, so if others turn away from her child, she is the one who sympathizes with him. The father is the manifestation of firmness, and the mother is the manifestation of kindness and tenderness.
Education and construction
The role of parents in general is the role of building, guiding and fulfilling the right of the child. Because our religion sees education as a right for the child, and the parents are indebted to him, and this debt and responsibility must be paid as best as possible. Among the rights of the child to his parents are: a beautiful name, a good upbringing, teaching him the Qur’an, writing, an education, and so on. Then prepare and qualify the child to enter social life as a good servant of Allah.
Children's duty
In exchange the children have a duty towards their parents consisting of obedience and submissiveness in all orders that do not involve disobedience to Allah, and they must also help them and be humble before them, and pray for them during life and after death.
Neglecting these matters and not being bound by these instructions means disobedience to parents. We also point out that negligence in the rights of children leads them to disobedience to parents.
