This is a completely autonomous, robotic pellet gun!

But no need to worry; this device only hunts almonds!

Almonds left on the tree after harvest are called “mummies” and can become a home for a navel orange worm that will hurt crops when spring comes.

Insight TRAC’s robot uses cameras and machine learning to Identify these “mummies” and then dispatches biodegradable pellets to destroy them.

This robot can run autonomously in any weather, is accurate up to 30 feet, and can run multiple days on a charge, greatly reducing the labor coasts.
