First: Before starting to treat the child's attention deficit, the specialist must work to relieve the child of his fears, anxiety and tensions, which makes the child calmer and more stable, and more able to receive guidance and treatment. Drug therapy or psychological therapy can be used to achieve this.

Second: Providing family and school guidance, so that an appropriate climate is provided to modify the child's behavior, and this is done in light of the information obtained about the child's behaviors in the family and at school.

Third: Treating fear of school, as many children are afraid of school for several reasons, and we find them afraid and tense or pretending to be sick or crying with annoyance when they want to go to school in the morning, so it is necessary to form a good relationship with the school and with the supervisors and specialists inside it, and encourage the parents to force the child to go to school without hesitation, because the child's absence from school increases his fears and anxiety. Fourth: Treating the child's attention deficit. The child's attention deficit hinders interaction with him, as well as his response to the environment, which disrupts or hinders the child's ability to learn. The symptom of attention deficit is linked to hyperactivity, and the complications of attention deficit increase in the child when he is in school, as it is difficult for the teacher to manage the classroom, in addition to the impact of this on other children. The treatment plan usually aims to train the child to focus attention, and increase its time period, with what accompanies it. This is due to the child's continuity in performing his work, activity, or task assigned to him. Usually, the therapist needs some simple means such as (table, food, spoons, cubes, ball, books, etc.). It is preferable for training to take place in a quiet place free of distractions, noise, or stimuli. Focusing attention is a skill that consists of four stages of behavior, and the child is usually able to do it, but some children may be unable to do it, or to proceed through these stages in order, and these training stages are:

- Continuing to sit on a comfortable chair for two to five minutes at a time, but gradually starting from five to ten seconds and gradually increasing.

- Looking at the therapist and responding to him when he calls him.

- Looking at a specific thing when asked to do so, i.e. at the appropriate time.

- Performing a specific activity or task assigned to the child, and continuing to do so for a specific period that can be gradually increased.
