No one doubts that the excessive pampering of children by the parents is motivated by love and a wide range of leniency to the point that they remove the hand of control and obligation from their actions, all because they love them...
However, excessive pampering is considered one of the wrong educational methods, and leniency does not produce children who follow the correct educational method, and does not develop any useful skills that will benefit them in their lives. Rather, they grow up lazy, selfish, and moody to the point that they become manipulative and they do not care about the feelings of others and do not care about the needs of others!!
Parents may find pleasure in seeing the joy in their children’s eyes as they give them gifts and sweets, for example. Parents may also find it difficult to control their feelings when they see their children broken-hearted. Because they think that making their children cry - by preventing them from buying a toy or an electronic device, for example - is unkind and incorrect!
Here we should direct the basic question to the parents: Is it in the interest of your children to pamper them to the point of causing their corruption?
You must instill feelings of acceptance in your children. You must deepen the exercises of (taming the will).
One researcher says: A kind of accelerator starts in the child’s brain when he hears the word “yes,” while his mind presses the brakes when he hears the word “no.”
Your training of children's will helps them build their thinking on the existence of logical limits that develop their control over their emotions and enable them to regulate their emotional motivations and desires, choose disciplined behavior, and choose the appropriate method that does not lead them into psychological deviations And behavioral.
