And because the user of the sites appears through a virtual and unreal digital account, as his real personality hides behind the screen of a computer, mobile phone or tab, which allowed absolute freedom to reveal his hidden characteristics; Some of them are polite and respectful in their style, and some of them are rude and indecent in their publication and comments.. It is no secret that if the matter is not based on controls and limitations, it will end in chaos.

Here are seven important tips in adhering to religious and rational controls when using social media platforms:

First: A religious bound: The believer should realize the responsibility of the senses, observe the integrity of expression and word, and the observation of the Almighty Allah when publishing and commenting.

Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) said: “When a person speaks a word with Allah’s acceptance, but without paying great attention to it, yet Allah raise his rank because of it, and a person speaks a word that cause Allah’s fury, without paying great attention to it and lead him to the fire of hell”

We must think well about what we want to publish, is it for or against us? Because the believer fears Allah, the Watcher over us, and fears the Day of Judgment. The Almighty Allah said: “On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their legs or feet will bear witness against them as to what they used to do"

So it is forbidden to publish false news, and you must be sure about the news and the credibility of the source.

Second: A moral and behavioral bound: It is necessary to be deliberate and control the nerves towards those who disagree with you in opinion and belief and intersect with you in convictions. And avoid responding quickly by commenting on other people's posts, as hasty responses may make you regret, especially in arguing over controversial issues such as faith and politics.

Third: Avoid rushing to support and promote news and accidents without verifying them, for it may lead to a security breach, chaos, undermining a belief or a respected symbol among a sect and group, destabilizing security, or raising suspicions that lead to enmities and hatred, then it should be stopped spreading immediately according to the holy hadeeth. “It is a sin on a person to speak of everything he hears.”

Fourth: Legal bound: You should beware of getting involved in harming people by blackmailing them, for it leads you to legal consequences that criminalize the blackmailer and will be pursued by the authorities.

Fifth: Make your goal when using social media platforms and sites to exchange benefits in matters of this world and the hereafter: And let your principle be good words, fruitful dialogue, and debate only useful matters, spreading a spirit of hope, optimism, love, and peace and attracting the opponents, and the emerging groups with a view to directing them towards righteousness.

Sixth: Adhere to the strategy of timing, programming, and immediate departure, so do not occupy all your time and waste it in random browsing and following up on trivial clips and images, rather, set specific time periods for beneficial goals.

If you got in an argument with a person and developed into a fight, then leave immediately from your account so that the matter does not turn into a crisis and a problem that may get you in a large problem, especially since some people document what you write with the feature of direct imaging (screenshot) for your responses and publish them.

Seventh: The principle of credibility and honesty:

If you are one of those who manage pages to promote specific products such as medicines, drugs, cosmetics, perfumes, or selling food and other things, then you must adhere to honesty and credibility, and that the product that is offered should be the one who is being offered to you, and make your heart a judge for your actions and to fear Allah and not to deceive the customer, and in addition to the sin that you will be held accountable for on the day of judgement, the law will pursue you and your reputation will be bad, causing you to lose, and you will be disappointed.
