How to conquer weak self-esteem

* Do not go on criticizing yourself. Silence that faint inner voice, the proper critic.

* You may make a mistake or you may fail, this is normal because you are a human being like others who make mistakes. Make failure a new motivation for you to succeed.

* Do not try to please others against your principles and at the expense of your feelings. Get used to saying no when necessary and without hesitation. Be honest with yourself.

* Face your problems and fears instead of running away from them.

* Do not take life too seriously and rigorously.

* Focus on your goals and make your past successes a motivation for new success.

* Repeat your positive affirmations to yourself constantly, for example, that you are successful, determined, confident in yourself, strong, happy, etc. These suggestions are accepted by your subconscious mind and fulfilled for you.

* Image of the Self means the individual's view of himself and what he deduces from that compared to others in terms of form, general appearance and behavior. It is from this image that the general impression of the self is formed, whether negative or positive. A negative self-image often leads to poor self-esteem. Self-image is the focus of the teenager's attention, as he cares a lot about his self-image. Therefore, you see him taking care of his outward appearance in terms of skin color and nature, hair style and body structure. And he spends the long hours in front of the mirror to convince himself of his final image. Despite this, he is not completely convinced because he has an imaginary image that is difficult for him to achieve. Some, especially the anxious ones, are hypersensitive to his self-image, delusional that others are eavesdropping on him with their hidden looks that focus on some of his shortcomings. This illusion makes him feel very embarrassed, nervous, and shy in front of strangers, and that is why he tries to avoid all situations that expose him to these feelings. Those who are conscious seif or self-conscious are shy, suffer from social anxiety, have low self-confidence, indecisiveness and low self-esteem.
