1- The concept of social psychology: Social psychology is a branch of psychology. It is a scientific study of the behavior of an organism as a social being that lives in a society with its peers, interacts with them, and is affected by them, i.e. affected by their behavior and affects their behavior. Social psychology as a branch of psychology is concerned with the study of the individual within the framework of society. The behavior of individuals is always affected by the social atmosphere that surrounds them. Social psychology is of great importance in many areas of life, where there are individuals and groups, including social interaction, whether their work is related to public services or socialization in the family or in school, and in all educational and educational fields, in the fields of public relations and social services, in the field of work, industry, the armed forces and in In the areas of information, propaganda, guidance and counseling, in the field of group leadership and other fields.
2- Social psychology: the relationship of an individual with an individual, as in the case of competition and cooperation between two individuals, or discussion or training.
3- The relationship of an individual with a group, as in the case of psychological studies, such as listening to a lecture, and the relationship of individuals with the leader, or the relationship of the leader with the members of the group.
4- A group-to-group relationship, as is the case in the psychology of revolutions or cooperation between nations and peoples, and the relationship of organized groups with each other.
The goals of social psychology:
1. Understanding and explaining social behavior and knowing the causes of its occurrence and the factors affecting it.
2. Predicting what social behavior will be like, based on knowing the relationships between social phenomena related to this field.
3. Adjusting and controlling social behavior by modifying and improving it to what is desired. Often opinions are about how to control and direct life, such as knowing the best ways to raise children, gain friends, influence others, and control anger.
