Al-Imam AL-Hasan Al-Askary (peace be upon him) was very cautious, cencerning the safety of his follower to the extend that one day he knew that some of his friends were waiting to greet him.

He sent a letter for them saying: "no one should greet me, raise his hand for me or make any sign for me , for your lives are in danger"

He told them not to get close or greet him to protect them from those who were against him.
