The London Branch of the Holy Quran Center of al-Abbas Holy Shrine concluded its first summer Quranic course, which was held in conjunction with the summer courses and activities of the main branch in Karbala.
The branch official, Sheikh Diaa al-Zubaidi, said, "The course was a starting point for a series of summer Quranic activities the branch has been working on since its establishment. This course was followed by a program to teach the art of recitation of the Holy Quran according to the Holy Shrine’s curriculum, and lessons in doctrine and jurisprudence.”
Al-Zubaidi concluded, “Certificates of Participation were distributed to the participating students, in addition to the distribution of Certificates of Appreciation to the professors and contributors in the establishment and success of these courses that aim to increase the community’s Quranic culture and knowledge.”
