Be a first-class manager

Know, my dear that you are in a constant test with everyone who contacts you directly or otherwise... The employees, starting from the cleaning worker and the security guard to the heads of units, divisions and departments, are always trying to involve you in an investigative process to determine the extent of your knowledge of work affairs and whether you are a good follower of their movements in the area that you manage and organize its affairs.

Dear manager, here are a number of practical tips that you should put on your list of priorities:

1. Do not talk too much about your academic and technical qualifications and experiences. This gives a negative image to the other party that you have a kind of arrogance and considers it an attempt to attract attention to you... So forget these introductions and try to make everyone who communicates with you benefit from your experiences through his direct involvement with you in the work and the exchange of visions and ideas.

2. Try to be a first-class manager by being familiar with knowledge and sciences related to the specializations that fall within your responsibilities, whether at the level of supervision or developing practical plans... How wonderful it is to be adept at mastering a set of ethical cultures that open wide horizons for employees to loyalty. And dedicate energies to development and community service.

3. To be a successful manager, you must have a clear strategy for development and try to create an image of it in the minds of those working with you so that they support you in achieving it and completing it on time.

4. Beware of boredom being the general atmosphere that prevails at work, for you will reap failure and monotony in your product day after day... Try to cultivate positive competition among workers until you reap successes that develop your work and increase its value, whether on a moral level or the material one.

5. Activate the idea of reward and punishment, following the example of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet, until you are confident that you are on the right path, away from flattery and unjustly gaining the approval of others.
