In order to ascertain the effect of this approach, a questionnaire was designed and given to students at the end of the case study, see Step No 8 on Table 3 in Peer Assessment among Students in a Problem-Based Learning Format Procedure Results. The questionnaire is shown in Figure 1 in Peer Assessment among Students in a Problem-Based Learning Format Conclusions.
The Results of five classes where this type of approach was used are shown on Table 1 in in Peer Assessment among Students in a Problem-Based Learning Format Conclusions (Questions 1 to 6) and Table 2 in Peer Assessment among Students in a Problem-Based Learning Format Conclusions (Question 7). They show a very positive response (Table 4); 83% favored the approach adopted, 16% was neutral and only 1% did not favor it. In terms of the time spent on the case (Table 5), 72% considered that they had spent more time on the approach as compared to the more conventional approach, 27% were neutral, and 1% considered that they had spent less time.
